Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECCI) is the largest business representation organization in the country. As of January 2012, the ECCI has almost 3200 members. The mission of the Chamber is to develop entrepreneurship in Estonia. The ECCI is an active partner to the parliament, government and ministries in designing the economic policy and climate. Whenever tax policies, corporate law, laws on property and obligations, foreign trade and EU-related issues or professional qualification is discussed, the Chamber speaks actively on behalf of the Estonian business community.
The ECCI provides several business-related services – consultation (legal, foreign trade, EU-related), business match-making (trade missions, trade fair visits, presentations), information services (business contacts, co-operation proposals etc.), training and foreign trade documents. ECCI assists foreign companies in establishing contacts with Estonian entrepreneurs as well as in introducing Estonian economy and investment environment. Swedish-Norwegian cluster cooperation
Region Halland is participating in the new Swedish-Norwegian cluster project, which just now initiates a cooperation between medtech, e-health and care technology clusters in the Nordic area.
The intention is that the cooperation between the clusters and their member companies will create growth and lead to that the Nordic area takes the lead in development of innovations and in increasing the number of succesful start-up companies in the mentioned sectors. Oslo Medtech is the project owner.
