World heritage

The Grimeton Radio Station World Heritage Site is a destination quite unlike anything else in the world. The radio broadcasting station outside Varberg was built in the 1920s to provide wireless communication with America and has been of great significance to millions of people. Grimeton Radio Station was included in 2004 on UNESCO’s World Heritage List and is Halland’s only World Heritage Site – well worth a visit!
