The premier arts- and crafts facility in Scandinavia

Tjolöholm Castle, open to the public all year round, is said to be one of the most impressive buildings in Sweden. The lavish castle was completed in 1904 and, as was common of that time, palace architect Lars Israel Wahlman didn’t just draw the castle, but also the adjoining park. Closest to the castle the garden is strict and pruned to then gradually conform to the surrounding landscape making the castle appear as if it rises out of its surroundings.

The Tjolöholm peninsula is known for its rich animal and plant life. You can find numerous walking trails passing by protected mature oaks, beach fields, look-out points, barren cliff beaches and lush noble deciduous forests.
