The small hotel with personal service

Hotell Hovgård is no ordinary hotel. It was once a stable. The farm atmosphere is unique and all rooms are decorated differently. The hotel has 14 rooms, all with private shower and toilet, as well as TV. The building dates back to the 19th century, but with modern standard.

The hotel is located between Halmstad and Tylösand. If you wish to have a look around, you are welcome to borrow a bike, free of charge, and there’s also a boules court and balls to borrow. If you bring your computer you can access the wireless broadband.

Here at Hotell Hovgård there’s an atmosphere of tranquillity enjoyed by guests. The people who run the hotel, also live here and they consider this to be the best place to live.

From Halmstad, follow the signs for Tylösand and then for Söndrums kyrka (Söndrum church). Hotel Hovgård is on Gamla Tylösandsvägen. Approx 3.5km from Halmstad city and 4km from Tylösand. Equally easy to reach from Gothenburg to the north, Malmö to the south and Växjö in the east. The waves of Kattegatt are to the west.
