The inn is beautifully located on the River Ätran, right in the centre of idyllic Falkenberg. Built in 1703, its two wings and garden were added in 1924. The inn features 2 suites, and 30 rooms with 65 beds.
During the summer, the garden plays host to popular musical events such as Hwitans Visfestival, a Jazz & Blues festival, and a selection of other concerts.
Some of Sweden’s best salmon fishing can be found right outside the hotel garden on the River Ätran. And Skrea strand, only a couple of kilometres away, offers wonderful sea bathing.

Directions
Turn off E6 onto Highway 154 toward Falkenberg Centrum / Svenljunga / Ullared. Follow Highway154 for about 2 km (straight ahead after the roundabout). Continue on Varbergsvägen for about 1 km. Turn right onto Lasarettsvägen, and drive west a bit further than 100 m. Turn right on Holgersgatan and continue south-west for 300 metres.
Turn left on Nygatan, and drive south-west about 200 m. Then turn left on Apoteksgatan, and continue 100 metres until you get to Värdshuset Hwitan (Hwitan Inn).
