An outing in the forest by the water
At the end of the gravel road that winds its way through the forest is where you’ll find Tiraholms Fisk beautifully situated by the shore of Lake Bolmen. Zander, pike and eel can be caught in the lake and steelhead is farmed here.
The fish – smoked, fresh, whole, filleted, fried or grilled – is available to purchase in the farm shop or order in the fish restaurant. You can also enjoy a bowl of delicious ice cream in the sunshine by the ice cream café. Close to the farm is a nice little beach where you can swim and where nature invites you to enjoy leisurely long walks.

Shops, food and drink
In the farm shop you can purchase smoked and fresh fish, whole or filet, caught and farmed in Lake Bolmen. The zander is very flavourful whether it has been poached, fried or grilled. A true culinary experience is the spice-smoked steelhead, not to mention the smoked eel.
The fish restaurant is open in summer and offers an à la carte menu. Dishes made from home made recipes are served using fish caught in Lake Bolmen. The restaurant and outdoor seating are fully licensed.
In connection to the restaurant you will find an ice cream café as well as Tiraholms pub with outdoor seating for warm summer days. Delicious ice cream dishes, coffee, cappuccino, espresso, tea, beer and wine.
Directions
From the E6, exit 45 Halmstad N/Jönköping, drive on road 26 to Hyltebruk. Take the southern entrance and drive through Hyltebruk, follow signs for Unnaryd. In the small community, drive towards Bolmsö, after approx. 3 km, signs for Tiraholms Fisk.

Services and activities
Open-air theatre on a beautiful nature stage during Midsummer weekends. Bolmendagen, the last Saturday in July, with events taking place around the entire lake. Enjoy summer evenings with live music in Tiraholms pub.
