Locally produced, organic, unique!
The farm, set in the beautiful beech forest, dates back to the 14th century and is today a modern sheep farm with the whole chain from organic sheep breeding with abattoir, to processing, sales, handicrafts made from sheepskin and a café with restaurant.
In the meat shop at Öströö Sheep farm you can stroll around and enjoy all the flavours and smells. Everything from lamb, sausages, pâtés, marinades, sauces to home-baked rusks, freshly cooked marmalades and spice blends. In Café Fårhagen you can fill your basket with sandwiches or freshly baked cakes of your choice along with organic coffee. There’s room for large gatherings in the “Snaps cellar”.

Shops, food and drink
In the meat shop you can buy mouth watering, flavourful and tender lamb meat, sausages, smoked dried salted leg of mutton, pâtés – all slaughtered and processed at the farm. The shelves are crowded with pickles, jellies, and marmalades etc., made from private recipes.
In the little red cottage next door you’ll find woolly, cosy and warm items made from sheepskins.
Weddings, celebrations and catering
Weddings and parties are arranged in the 18th-century ”snaps cellar” according to the guests’ own wishes. All the meat that is served comes from organically bred cattle and is slaughtered on the farm.
Catering, lamb plank steak à la Öströö served with cold cut delicacies from the meat shop, the kitchen’s special potato salad, bread and a selection of tasty pickles.

From the E6, exit 53 Varberg S/Tvååker, towards Tvååker. In Tvååker turn left towards Dagsås and Öströö Fårfarm (sheep farm).
