Events in Halland all year round
Halland in south Sweden offers memorable experiences and activities all year round; charming towns nearby, kilometres of beaches and idyllic inland offer festivals, musical events, theatre and variety shows, markets and sporting events of all kind. In summer there is naturally even more going on!
Entertainment & Event
In 2009, we will be developing a hub for local events and attractions for all target groups under “Entertainment & Events” at halland.se. Halland’s companies will regularly publish entertainment packages and suggestions for events that will hopefully make you want to book and travel here.
Some examples are the Marine Festival in Halmstad, the Falkenberg Variety Show, theatre performance at Vallarnas, jazz and song festivals, numerous outdoor summer concerts and, if you like sports, Halmstad has the European Under-21 Championships, and Falkenberg offers racing and the Swedish Touring Car Championships. And keep an eye out for the popular art exhibitions.
